Single ctenidiform comb on the front tarsus in the male is
melanogster, but in some areas
simulans is more frequent.
At least
melanogaster can be quite variable when it comes to darkening of the body.

Right now, I dont understand a word (well, some words... ;-) of what you?re saying, but I?ll check where the different parts are when I get home. There?s too many parts on a fly! :-D
