Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Eristalis lineata?

Hello,
the next syrphid from Usedom Island I suppose to be
Eristalis lineata because of the dark wing markings. Are the yellow hind margins of the tergites also distinctive?

Yes, dark markings on wing, and t3 yellow at base...

you want to say f3 yellow at base :D(tibia is also yeloow, but characteristic is the yellow base of the f3):D

Oh - I took the "t3" for tergite 3 - wouldn't that make sense, too? I see a yellow mark there...

Amalia, thanks for the correction, I'd want to say "femur 3" of course ! ;)
