Hello,
I found this little insect at the beginning of August. It was on a mint leaf by a lake in Villeneuve d'Ascq (North of France).
I think it belongs to the Chironomidae family and, on LMDI site, I am suggested Tanypus genus for this insect. Do you think it can actually be this genus ? And can or not a species be considered ?
Thanks in advance.
Dominique

Thank you very much, John, for your quick reply. I am happy to know the species of the insect in addition to its genus.
Best regards,
Dominique
