Slovakia, banská Bystrica region, Great Fatra mts., a forested valley, forest road, 550 m.a.s.l. They flied,, then sat on the road, and were tolerant to my camera several centimeters from them.
Is my ID correct?

the face of the female, unfortunatelly, this angle exposed the pair to full sunlight, the quality is poor therefore

Hi Matej, I've checked it with:
Families of Flies with Three Pulvilli (Zeegers, Schulten)
and
Key to the horse flies fauna of Croatia (Diptera, Tabanidae)
STJEPAN KRČMAR, DAVORKA K. HACKENBERGER and BRANIMIR K. HACKENBERGER
I think it's
P. aprica - the male of
P. graeca has a "very narrow median black line on the posterior margin of the (first 3 or 4) tergites" - which should be visible on your images.
