This fly was on a rock alongside a fast-flowing river in the mountains, West Virginia USA.
Date 4 July 2007, size not recorded.
ID help appreciated!

Hybotidae I think. It might be a species of the genus
Tachypeza, but let's wait for the experts opinion.

Tachypeza is O.K. Unfortunately, it is impossible to identify the species.
