Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Heleomyzid: Freshly emerged or crippled?

Hello!

I think this is a Suillia variegata, they were abundant in the last days here at rotten bananas in the garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany). Is this one freshly emerged or possibly damaged? Additional to the crippled wings it also has a strange proboscis.

Many thanks! I suspect, it has even emerged from the rotten bananas, which now also serve as food for the imago... :)
