The angle is not the best, but does anyone have an idea what it might be?

Most likely Melanostoma scalare female.
Next time please mention time and place of capture.. :)

Sorry Andre, you're quite right. All my photos are in any case taken near Rome, Italy (unless I specify otherwise) and it was taken the day I posted it. I did think of Melanostoma scalare as I have a similar photo in my archives which resembles it greatly. Thanks and I'll remember to always include the details in future, ;) Sarah

Just not everybody knows where you make your pictures.
You are not the only one forgetting such details... anyway..
