Hi All

Noticed this hoverfly on some thistles on the dge of a small meadow, woods close by.

I think it is S. torvus, though it has not been recorded in this area before, it appears.
Extensive black markings on rear legs, black strips that are in places twice as wide as the yellow ones.

Could some confirm or deny please?
