Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Very small fly (Sphaeroceridae?)

Hello!

Sorry for the poor picture quality, this fly was tiny and running fast... Another one of which I'm not sure to which family it belongs. Maybe Sphaeroceridae, too? Length about 2 mm, on a Fraxinus twig in the forest yesterday, Ostwestfalen/Germany.

Yes, Sphaeroceridae. Possibly Sphaerocerinae, but it is difficult to make out any details

Thanks, Paul. I was not sure about Sphaeroceridae, because I had never seen a Sphaerocerid with such long legs before.
