I find
Ichneumonidae to be pretty hard to determine, or at least have not found any easy to digest resources for this. To me, the following characteristics stand out:
1. Wings not covering the whole abdomen.
2. Abdomen being primarily red and ending in black color.
3. Hind leg being dark red/black.
4. Middle and front leg yellow/brown color.
4. The clear and, for me, unique white marks on the thorax.
5. White marking around the eyes and continuing in the face area (unknown exactly from the pictures).
6. Antennaes being one color of black.
I have compared the characteristics to the different information and photo's available, and even went through the gallery of
http://www.cthiri..., but found nothing resembling this.
Barichneumon bilunulatus (
http://www.cthiri...ge_id=6580) is the closest look-a-like I could find, but this is also not exactly the same.
Through the “European Ichneumonoidea” forum, I got a hint of a possible
Barichneumon. But without certainty.
I am also really unsure how much the species can vary in the named characteristics. So I hope someone can push me in the right direction :)

From what I can see (not too much, unfortunately), a male Barichneumon derogator is possibly a good candidate.

Thank you Eklans, this looks exactly like the one. Especially using the following image as a reference: https://www.bioimages.org.uk/image.php?id=146964
Though I agree, I am missing some photo angles.
