Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid larva (Host: Acronicta rumicis)

On the last November 3rd, I collected a larva of the noctuid Acronicta rumicis. Yesterday a larva of a tachinid (I think) came out of the host pupa.
I know it must be very hard/impossible to find out the exact species but I would like to know what species and subfamilies are possible.
I've checking out on the net and I discovered that Exorista larvarum parasitizes this noctuid.

there are more tachinids that can parasite this pupa:
Compsilura concinnata
Nilea hortulana
Exorista larvarum
Pales pavida

I hope that from the four you mentioned it is Exorista larvarum because I already met the others:).
