Hello,
for this male found in the garden on 14 May 2022, we think of a Medetera with this face, but we are puzzled about the species.
In effect we had thought of M. flavipes with this habitus but the surstylus does not seem to fit.
Body size : 2,9 mm.
Locality : Luçon, middle west of France
Is it possible with these pictures to go to the species?
Thanks by advance
Christian

Looks like М. media Parent, 1925 - fore coxa yellow; 1-4 segments of all tarsi dark at extreme apex. But its nearest to France country is Tunisia. See
