Found Today in beech forest mid Netherlands. Cecidomyiidae, male.

Not sure. Descriptions are based largely on genital characters or hair patterns I can't see. The sharp gonostylus with a dark tip is found in
Camptomyia abnormis Mamaev, 1961 but that genus is said to have dark markings on the thorax.

Thanks John. Camptomyia abnormis is the only species of Camptomyia we have in the Netherlands. Maybe a fresh specimen?
I saved it for ID later.

I am sure you have more species not yet recorded. If you have the specimen it should be easy to confirm the ID.
