S. hypoleuca. To my knowledge, reported from Vienna (and Austria) previously only in a 1848 paper. Can you mention the dimensions (length) of the fly?

7-8 mm. First I thought it was a beetle.

This supports the identification (S. hypoleuca is much larger than other European Stegana spp. with pale mesoĆnotum).
