Is this just a varint of Phaonia subventa? Or something very different. The side of the thorax seems to be yellowish.

Possibly the same species. With greyish thorax.
This is from the same location but a couple of days later.

The 2nd fly is an anthomyiid, possibly a female of
Pegomya bicolor.
