This male Notiphila was collected the 2nd of June in Goes, the Netherlands. The specimen was not in really good condition, the dusting pattern on abdomen not visible. I hope someone can help!

The best I can suggest (based on genitalia morphology) is guttiventris, but it's tricky without a specimen - note there is some variation in the structure of the genitalia, and not always possible to be sure where a specimen belongs.

Do you agree with guttiventris? Or with the fact that it is tricky without a specimen?:)

I agree with guttiventris but it is always best tobe able to examine the specimen. ;)

Thank you both|t Have you seen specimens of guttiventris from the Netherlands, by the way? It is not officially on the Dutch list, I see.
