This is a female of
Calliphora vicina (Calliphoridae).

they are pretty common right now. I saw huge C. vicina these days.

Some days ago (when it was sunny) they were numerous, too, even here in Germany at 0 ?C :).

..and on Sunday when I was assisting a baptism in a baptistery (I was photographing my cousin) and then... I saw two flies dead near one window. :D I analysed those flies... one Tachinidae, and a Calliphora vicina! :D and I was distracted and didn?t care if it was there the priest! :D ehehe
