Hello.
This heleomyzidae was observed yesterday on Prunus laurocerasus at midday in the north of Yonne department (Burgondy, France). Should it be a male of Suillia flava ? Thanks for your expertise.Greetings, Jean-Michel Garel.

Thanks Andrzej.
What are the best features which characterize S. flava ?
Conclusion => Suillia sp. ?

The use of the key for British species of the genus Suillia (03/01/2021) last modified by Paul Beuk lead to Suillia flavifrons if we consider that subscutellar hairs are absent (9a) since arista is short plumose (10b).
Is it correct ? All my thanks for a reply.
