I think in Tephritoidea.

Hi Jorge,

I'ld say either Ulidiidae, or Platystomatidae.
Could you give me a better picture of the wingvenation?

Definitely an ulidiid - the genus is probably Pterocalla, or some other pterocalline.

Steve is right, it is a Pterocalla scutellata Schiner 1864, according to Elena's list (Kameneva 2004. New records of picture-winged flies (Diptera, Ulidiidae) of Central America, including the description of new taxa. - Studia Dipterologica (2003) 10(2): 609-652) distributed from Guatemala through Costa Rica and Panama to Pery & Bolivia.
