Spotted this odd small fly in the garden the other day -length about 3mm. South Coast UK

Christmasimyidae, Santaclausita - female!!! Adults have a very short life-span, because they are heavy smokers...
Any angel flies around?

Santamyza polaris, family Santamyzidae, related to Agromyzidae (leafminers) but these mine in ice.

Thanks for the ID's :)- Happy Christmas everyone, and thanks for the help with IDs during the year - very much appreciated.
I did take this only a couple of days ago- slightly suprised to see it.

Indeed, Brian, slightly early for Santamyzidae (the 'True' Christmas Fly) - I wonder if it is the very similar looking but always much earlier emerging Commercialazata noelii

No, it is not. Life specimens of Commercialazata can easily be recognised by the dollar signs on their eyes.
