Hello,
Among my collection of dead flies I have a badly fragmented one that I nevertheless find very impressive. Its tibiae have, besides long bristles, two big, hairy spurs. I am quite sure it belongs to Mycetophilidae, though the antennae look rather short; they might have lost their terminal parts, however. One of the wings shows a cleft that seems to be an anomaly rather than an artificial damage. Do the shadowy marks on the wings point to a genus?
Thanks for ID help, Sundew
