Hello,

I photographed this fly on Monte Etra (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on August 22nd 2021. I think it is a Cylindromyia, but is it possible to identify its species from these photos?

Thank you in advance,
Emanuele

Female pusilla. Wing venation is highly characteristic (west of the Urals)

Thank you, Theo! The wing venation is peculiar indeed, because of it I didn't even consider the genus Cylindromyia when I first looked at the pictures.
