Hi,
a few more pictures of a fly on a birch tree in our garden that I took a few days ago. I'm sorry that the picture quality is not very good, but light conditions were difficult (poor excuse, I know :|).
I don't really have an idea, what that could be, but
Helina impuncta/depuncta looks at least similar and might still be around at that time of the year.
Germany, Southern Bavaria, Munich (-West), 24.10.2021, app. 6-8 mm
