Is it just the abdominal pattern that gives transversa (over unispina or phalerata) or is there somethig else about it?
Thanks!

Distinctly divided four spots on each abdominal tergite (plus often a spot at lateroventral margin of tergite each side) allows for disinguishing D. transversa among European spp. of the genus. Naturally there are more distniguishing characters, but difficult to apply them in photos.
