Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Mesembrina mystacea?

Because of the reddish colour I first thought of Cephenomyia, Hypoderma or something like that, but I guess the proboscis is too big for those. So is it Mesembrina mystacea, or is it anything completely different?

Thanks for any kind of help!

(Sorry for the bad photo quality, my camera got damaged and I had to use the cam of my cellular phone)

EDIT: location added: Vorarlberg, Western Austria, about 1300m, 1st July 2006

I knew that my picture was bad, but I didn't think it was sooo bad :(
Still hoping to get an answer, the fly looks quite distinctive even on the bad photo

regards
