Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tabanidae: Philipomyia cf. aprica ♀

Hello,

I photographed this fly near Monte Cagno (AQ), Italy, 1800m a.s.l. on June 27th 2021. I think it is a Tabanidae, but is it possible to identify its genus or species from these photos?

Hi Emanuele, I think it could be a female Philipomyia aprica.
