Recorded in Flensburg meadow, N. Germany on Achillea millefolium on a bright sunny day. The seemed very active. It rained the next day. Also seen on Tanacetum vulgare.
Body +/-5-7mm long

I think it might be an Eliozeta Sp.

Hi Ray, the antennae are very close, segment 3 longer than twice 2nd, arista ⅔ thickend = E. pellucens.

Thank You Eric.

Can you tell if it is a male or female?

Regards
Ray

With the mostly yellow abdomen and the naked parafrontalia I'm quite sure it's a male.
