Blimey! It certainly is Calliphorid like - and chunky - looks like it works out in the gym :)

The female looks like Neomyia, but not the male indeed !
Only 2 dc ? Not common in Muscidae. :o

But male eyes have enlarged upper facetes and small low facetes!
