Another mystery fly, very small, cc. 1.5-2 mm. Shiny metallic. Can someone suggest a family at least from this pic?

Could be Ephydridae, Chloropidae, Lonchaeidae (if they can get this small) etc.

I would exclude chloropids (too shining) and lonchaeids (too small).

There is only one species L. smaragdina in Europe, which is not yet recorded from Hungary. I change the title to attacht Ian.

I would agree with Jan - my first instinct is that the eyes are too widely separated for Lonchaeidae,
