Photos taken in NE of France (Distroff, 57925) the 2021/07/15. Lenght 4- 5m

it was cut in two when I handled it

The larva looks like
Culex pipiens group, but the pupa is a ceratopogonid, probably
Dasyhelea. (The exuvium in your other post is the pupal skin of the
Culex.)
