Hello all!

I photographed this Tephritidae on April 20, 2021 near Lyon (south-east of France). It was 4-5 mm tall.
I was thinking to cornura, matricariae or simplex but one suggested me it could be ruralis.
What are your thoughts?

My vote goes to Tephritis matricariae.

I have no experience with T. conyzifoliae, but T. crepidis is abundant where I live and they always seem to have r-m surrounded by at least 3 hyaline spots and never show a partly reddish oviscapt : www.tephritidae.n...
