Hello together,

is it possible to identify this darkly drawn hover fly? I saw it in the southern Black Forest, Germany on 09.04.2021. The length was about 8-9 mm.

Hi Siggi, I think it's a female Melangyna quadrimaculata (abdomen black, pterostigma black and long, eyes hairy.
