Hello!
One of the prettiest
Scatophagas (?) I have seen; 12 mm large and very long winged. Could it be a male
S. suilla? Found yesterday at a tree in our garden (Ostwestfalen/Germany).

This could well be a female
Scathophaga scybalaria. The large size and long wings are typical for this species.

Very interesting! I never heard of that species, but according to "Entomofauna germanica" it occurs here. Thanks!
