The Bibio pomonae is definitely correct.
It is only known, as far as I know, in Ireland from Kerry and the Burren.
The ferruginatus should have really completely black tibiae.
It looks like it in the picture, but somehow (the long hairs on first tergites) the pictures suggests lanigerus to me.
So check for yourself: really black tibiae implies ferrigunatus and
red tibiae lanigerus
