Hi Brian,

Kahis is right, it is a female of Geomyza tripunctata. The review of Drake is indeed very good, but keep in mind that Geomyza nartshukae is not included in this review (it does occur in the UK). Furthermore the fig. of the 8th sternite of G. balachowskyi(?) in his review is actually the 8th sternite of G. hackmani. For more information on G. nartshukae see Carles-Tolra (1994, Entomological Review 73(1): 91-95; easier than his original paper (1993) in Russian).
