Nice picture Joke! A beautiful fly :D isn't it? It is indeed a female of
Geomyza tripunctata. I hardly ever find this species before May (but have seen several specimens collected earlier in the year by other dipterists). In The Netherlands this is one of the most common opomyzid species.
