Hi Clovis,

thank you very much for ID of Tipula (Dendrotipula) flavolineata. :)

In the previous year I ask for a larva in the same piece of dead wood

Is it possible that the cranefly developed from that larva?
Since I did not crumble the wood beforehand, I cannot completely rule out that there was more than 1 larva in it.
