OK let's wait for Andrey. The size is variable, yesterday I observed lots of these, some were around 3 mm, others 4 to 4.5 mm. It seems that they prefer small branches at the top of a fallen aspen (2 cm across or thinner). Peplomyza litura is also abundant but less easy to see, yet I didn't notice any egg-laying activities, just sitting. Found another Pallopteridae (pictures later).
