Hello Aijaz,
this is indeed Sepedon, more specific Sepedon sphegea, a species widely occurring in the Palearctic, but only found in the northern part of the Oriental (most southern records from northern India, southern China).

In short, the important characters are the black face, the black coxa 1 and the black first antennal segment (among other characters)!

As we are finalizing a manuscript on Oriental Sciomyzidae, I would be happy to include the specimen. Can you inform us on the collecting date (an more specific locality)? Would be highly appreciated!

Also, if you have more Sciomyzidae from this very interesting region, feel free to contact me, I'd be happy to help you identifying.
