Thank you for your effort, Theo. Unfortunately I did not collect any. At that time there were quite some similar tachinids in that general area. I will have to remember next year to go back and collect some.

I assume that it is better to leave the id as uncertain?

Does this have any implications for the Linnaemya in my other topic (for which the photos are of lesser quality)? Or are you still certain of your id as L. picta for that one?
