The length of the proboscis caused me to deviate from M. occulta. That species has a very short proboscis: Gallery picture of M. occulta. The coloration of the wings is striking, and the abdomen is not dorsoventrally flattenend as in Myopa. With this head, only Myopotta and Melanosoma remain.
