That's very interesting! A new genus for me. However, the species description on Joke van Erkelens' website http://www.dipter...ecies.html is a bit different. The hairs on the eyes of my fly are very short, and also the setae on midtibia and hind legs do not fit her description. It seems that the arista of my fly is a bit plumose (though it is not clearly seen in all the pics - alas!), and that seems to differ from the photo by Walter Gritsch (http://www.fugleo...p?ID=64589). So who is right?
