Coenosinii are (easily) distinguishable by the layout of katepisternal (=sternopleural) setae : 3 setae arranged in an equilateral (or at least isosceles) triangle. Of course, this is not visible on these pics.
I'd add that this one looks like Coenosia attenuata / humilis, but once more, I don't know the nearctic fauna.
