Probably the first data for Hydrophorus nebulosus Fallén, 1823 were published by Levander (1914), and for Campsicnemus scambus (Fallén, 1823) by Frey (1913). They noted winter activity (December and February) of the species at snow in southern Finland at temperature about +0.5 - +1oC.
