It is an entirely different family, though it is one of the dance flies. This is Chelipoda albiseta, one of the small species of the Empididae subfamily Hemerodrominae. The males of this species can bedistinguished form the related C. vocatoria by the duller back of the head (ociput). The genus is self can be distinguished by the absence of a fork in R4+5, the fact that the fore legs are raptorial (in Hybotidae, if present, raptorial legs usually are usually the mid legs) and that a discal cell is present in the wing.
