Can anyone suggest a family for this fly? It seems like it should be related to the Bombylidae or Tabanidae but I am not sure.
Location: Mtn. de Kaw, French Guiana.

Coll: Jean A. Cerda
Size: 21mm (tip of proboscis to tip of abdomen)
