Copula of small black flies photographed today on the outside of a window, here in Ipswich, Suffolk. Each about 7 mm from head to tip of abdomen. I can see the apical circlet of spines on the tibia and some medial spines. I think these are Dilophus, probably D febrilis and would very much appreciate confirmation, or correction.
