Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Limoniidae = Dicranomyia sp.

This one is on my site, photographed in 2001.
It has been puzzling me for ages.
I am pretty sure it is a Limoniidae.
An earlier thread pointed me to a possible Symplecta.
But searching books and internet did not reveal any species with the almost square, light spot in the wings.
Has anybody any idea what this could be?
Photographed in the Netherlands April 28th, 2001.
Photographed in the garden on the fringe of a small forest (mainly Birches, some American Oaks) on a rather dry and very sandy soil.
Your help is highly appreciated, since I am rebuilding my pages on flies, which over the years have accumulated lots of mistakes :S
