From today just north of Stockholm, Sweden. Dry as it has been I was a little surprised to find a small damp area (old tractor tracks) where there were flies. Some flies came to "drink" and went again. Others seemed stationary ... so I staked it out for a while. This small fly was one of them I found. Sorry I couldn't get any closer. Need a x5 lens ... and was a little wet.
