I found this fly on August 11th, 2020, in the southern part og Lower Saxony (Germany), sitting on a wall. Any help for identification would be appreciated.

Hi John, thanks, may be L. caesar, but I know no photo of a fresh emerged one. And L. ceasar has a black stripe between the eyes.

Tried to attach an image to a forum post. jpg, 32kB, 72dpi, no blanks, ... File name is correctly displayed, but when I click "Preview Thread" it just vanishes. Help!
